Now, if you'd like to look like a "Three's Company" gal come Spring, you've got options galore. Many of the top designers showed looks that would be right at home at the Regal Beagle. Are you a Janet or a Chrissy? Or you may fancy yourself more of a Terri or Cindy (so many blondes, so little time!). But whichever direction you go, there is one hard and fast rule for all: sex appeal. Chrissy was obviously there for the extra, erm, bounce, but let's not underestimate Janet. She often ran around in short shorts and tight tees, though with her slighter frame and Joan Jet shag, was a little more androgynous (it also seemed that she was sexier early on in the series and made more "dowdy" as the years progressed which is such a shame). Still, she had her moments. And if you so desire, the caftan is decidedly *in* so you can indulge your inner Mrs. Roper as well. Designers to check out: Versace, VPL, Chloe, Andrew Gn., Imitation of Christ, Michael Kors, Marc Jacobs, Luella |

Mrs. Roper was rarely seen wearing anything but a caftan but sure did she wear it with style (far left)! Always pairing it with chunky and colorful jewelry, she was definitely a force to be reckoned with. Designer Andrew Gn. did his own version of the muumuu for Spring 2005. |
| Many a man has said that Terri (that third blonde and the only one who was given some brain matter), was foxier than the rest. Here is a shot of her from the show's opening credits sporting some super shorts, a tight v-neck tee, and some strappy shoes (near right). We're wondering if Donatella was thinking of her when she sent this look, almost an exact replica, down the Versace runway (far right). |
