How Many Foxy Rock Boys Can Fit into a Single Room?
Let's Find Out!

Haven

Haven

In an event sponsered by ambitious new music magazine Filter, British up-and-comers Haven headlined a sold-out gig at New York City's Mercury Lounge.

With support from Swedish sensations Division of Laura Lee and The Hiss from Atlanta, it was initially hard to gauge the audience's reaction to the bands. DVSN bassist Jonas at one point during their set proclaimed "Cool as a moose..." referring to the crowd. However, when asked what he thought of the NYC audience afterward, he responded with an enthusiastic "Thumbs Up".

In all honesty, DVSN should have been the topping the bill as their reputation precedes them wherever they play (we dare you to find one negative thing written about their new release Black City). They've continually been blowing people away with their moody style of high-powered rock. And at their Philly gig, half the crowd left after DVSN's set, not bothering to stick around for Haven.

Look for them to headline their own tour in early 2003.
